Priorities, ladies?

During a Bible lesson on King Solomon today, I fought the urge to launch into a feminist, self-esteem talk with my girls.  I will save it for another day, 'cause this is just sad.

=====================================================================

Me: Okay, fourth grade friends, I want you to imagine that God speaks to you in a dream.  God says that you may ask for anything you want.  Remember, this is God we're talking about.  No limits.  God can do anything.  What do you ask for?

Girl 1: A husband.

Me:  Oh.  That's... original.  Hadn't heard that one before.  Anyone else?

Girl 2: I want a husband, four kids, and a monkey.

Me:  Sweetheart, you only get one.  But you know, depending on who you ask, the husband and the monkey are the same thing.
